Flexible RG316 are one of the cables that widely use on repeated bend applications, RG316 have Stranded inner conductor instead of one core, which can perform a more flexible characteristic, and PTFE dielectric and can withstand high temperature, harsh environment, FEP jacket make it suitable for indoor / outdoor use and ideal for high temperature application.
There are two types when it comes to braiding, single shield and double shield, an additional shield will surely perform better Low Loss characteristc, Double shield have a 85% shielding effectiveness, however, the cost is nearly double than single shield RG316, that's why single shield RG316 are more popular in the market and are much easier to buy.
The plating of the braiding is an important factor that can easily be ignored, do remember that the Silver plating is the correct choice.
