PTFE Matters, RG316 Coaxial Cable

PTFE Matters, RG316 Coaxial Cable

PTFE and FEP are two of popular insulator which will be used for the dielectric of RG316 Coax Cable, PTFE has more stable temperature performance than FEP, the outstanding electrical and mechanical properties of PTFE over a broad range of temperatures and frequencies make RG316 coaxial cable the standard for a wide range of military and commercial applications.

FEP is a compromise between cost and performance, it's well understood that it's quite attractive if the project cost can be significantly drop with the change of only dielectric, you can't even tell the difference when you test the cable at the room temperature and when it's brand new, however, as time goes by, FEP will be inferior to PTFE.

We will share more news about material, structure, plating of Cable, Connector in our blog, stay tuned!
